Why Donate?

 Western  Resources for Independent Living is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization  (EIN 46-0401091). We are not affiliated nor do we receive funds from any national organizations. We rely on donations from individuals and  businesses in the communities we serve. Your generous donations are tax  deductible, very much appreciated, and needed to enable us to assist  people of all ages and disabilities on their path to lifelong  independence. Your gracious donations, of any size, can be made to  specific programs or areas of emergent need.​​​​ ​Western  Resources for Independent Living is also in need of volunteers.  We  need assistance within different programs and at different events.  The  gift of your time and energy is always appreciated.

Donation Refund Policy 

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to Western Resources for Independent Living and its programs, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 business days of your donation. To request a refund, call 605-718-1930. 

Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. 

Privacy Policy 

Western Resources for Independent Living and its programs respects and protects your privacy. 

Western Resources for Independent Living and its programs will never sell or rent your personal 

information to other individuals or companies. When you make a donation, your name will be 

included in Western Resources for Independent Living and its programs newsletters and other 

publications. If you do not wish to share your name, or you choose to make your donation anonymously, Western Resources for Independent Living and its programs will not publish your name. When we create an account for you will receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your records, and occasional email and postal delivery updates. If you do not wish to hear from us, simply unsubscribe from any mailing or contact us directly.

leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site. 

• Referrals: If you refer or inform a friend about our site, you will be asked for the friend’s name and email address. Western Resources for Independent Living and its
